Third Sector Hub Manager at VANEL

For now, I’m responsible for the Thrive Leaders Network.

I’ve started it up, made it happen and now I’m managing its ongoing development and direction.  I hope over time, others will show leadership and give the group a life of its own.  But for now, we’ve met just once so it falls to me to get the group going.

Leadership can often be a lonely role.  There’s very often no one else to turn to, to escalate to or to consult with.  I hope by starting the Leaders Network we can support leaders of Third Sector organisations across our region to work better together, support each other, and in turn become better at what they do.  That can only be good for our sector.

I manage the Third Sector Hub at Voluntary Action North East Lincolnshire (VANEL).  It’s a funded initiative designed to help Third Sector Organisations in North East Lincolnshire to grow, develop and become more robust, effective and sustainable into the future.
