You are welcome to attend one of our bi-monthly neworking meetings – they’re free and we’ll feed you – as long as:

1. You lead a Third Sector Organisations either based in or operating in North East Lincolnshire

(You might use your own definition of ‘lead’ but we expect that you are either the General Manager, Chief Officer or otherwise head-honcho employee of your org or of a significant project or department, or you are chair, secretary or significant mover-and-shaker within a non-constituted voluntary or community group.

We’re not going to tell you if you are a leader or not – you know whether your role involves leadership.)

2. You’re ready (and willing) to develop yourself as a leader

We don’t expect you to come to a meeting for the food and to be ‘taught’.  You’re a leader so you’ll be expected to contribute, get involved, share your opinions, thoughts and experiences and ask questions and challenge others (and yourself).  No free rides.

3. You’ll turn up.

Don’t say you’re coming and then don’t show.  You’ve just failed a leadership test.  Book your place and we’ll see you there.

4. You promise to make the most of the network

If you learn something please share it – with your staff, your volunteers, your beneficiaries, your friends, your cat.

If you know something that will help others you’ll share that too.

If you know someone else who should be involved, you’ll tell them about the Network.
Attending the meetings means joining the Network.  If after trying it, it turns out it isn’t for you, just let us know – we only want those involved to want to be there.
