The Community Sector Coalition has this month launched a new training and support inititative designed to assist with leadership development in community groups.

This “Liberating Leadership” programme aims to develop leadership within grassroot level organisations in a practical and appropriate way – different to more ‘common’ leadership development programmes.

The website is here with a little more information.  There is a leadership development programme for Development Workers coming up early next year which may be worth looking at.

The programme at the moment looks like it’s aimed at Infrastructure organisations (such as VANEL) and development workers.  But it’s a new initiative worth watching.
